Removing rear section of centre consol

Quick heads -up.
Can I simply remove the very rear small section of the centre consol without having to take out the whole lot?
I've scuffed it up putting my bike in the back.

No. The rear unit slides downwards from the rest of the unit. The rest of the unit is screwed down.
 
As G2 says you need to lift the front section up to slide the rear section off as its in a groove :thumb:
