Hi, after several long runs I noticed that when the car is back in the garage the heat emitting from the passenger side vent is virtually non existant whereas the driver side seems to emit quite a lot more heat. The fans are not on.

The car is a 986 Boxster S 37,000 miles with a Hartech rebuilt engine with LTT etc. As expected it runs beautifully with no engine temperature issues ever indicated on the temp gauge.

So whilst not unduly worried I just wondered if this was normal especially as the NC500 beckons next week.

Hi Hornet,
I believe that would be normal as the side vents serve different purposes.
One side takes air into the engine and the other side vents hot air away from the engine although I can't remember which side does what. I think I am right but I am sure someone else will confirm .........or not.😀
