So had a good look at this car tonight....spent some while with the chap. All looked really promising. Bodywork excellent - a few imperfections but nothing you would call excessive for age, and seemed a well cared for example. I was starting to get that feeling you all know what I mean when you think you've found your next car!
I was told full OPC history, but then when looking through the paperwork and service book discovered the car has only been serviced a total of 3 times, and in the current owners 8 year possession it had only been serviced once! Deal breaker surely?? Bit gutted if I'm honest! :nooo:

What was his explanation for it not being serviced? Unless you are getting an amazing deal walk away.

Sorry to hear it. Moving forward, make a note to go through the service history on the phone - dates, mileage, type of service carried out, who did it and include date/mileage for brake fluid change and who carried it out.

This telephone screen might save you a wasted journey in the future.
Sadly it is not uncommon - people cite many inaccuracies in their descriptions of their car when they are trying to sell it. I even witnessed this myself at some prestige/specialists. I never enquired or visited any private seller but was made aware of the risks by some good specialists.

I asked about self servicing but said he fidnt ferl it needed it as he only done 10k in 8 years but thd car still needs to see a ramp dvery 2years!

It was advertised at £65k despite a healthy 50k miles driven. Good spec with buckets,etc, but still. That means there are now only 13 manual coupes available on AT which is the lowest I've seen it in a couple of years of watching.

5 of these are blue @Phil997. Good time to do that swap :thumb: . I genuinely like them in blue so I'm surprised. And there are only two in any spec that would pass SBSP's mileage limits :floor:

Not bad considering it is a manual with £35K and has the factory aerokit and 2 year warranty. That grey interior is a little dull but that's subjective of course.
