car is looking very tidy indeed!

the amber covering on the fogs - is that a clear vinyl just stuck on? did you have to heat it to take the shape?

Thank you Tim,
I have to say, that orange does attract attention

Both my other threads seem to slip by most peeps, so don't let it bother you sunshine

Thank you Ben,
It's a wrap film. Heat is a must to get it around those tricky corners. i could have put multiple layers on to make it more orange, but was worried it might affect the mot.

I have now caught up Chief. You have been busy - looks loverly! :worship:

Stunning mate

If only we could all look inside your brain and see just how it works

Thanks everso much chaps :thumb:

Just waiting for the sticky numberplate to turn up. Then MOT time!
Oh, I have to squeeze in a bit of mopping also, just to get it right

She's a jaw dropper! Are those after-market splitters at the front there? They look really good!

I want to put my Cayman S insignia to black on my car, looks the mutts.

No, they are just the original ones taken off and painted. To be fair they come off easy enough.

My god, they look so good on your car with all the other black accents! Wonder if I can pull off black ones on my white Cayman?!

Definately :thumb:
So easy to get off and paint at home to be honest.

Thought I would bleed the brakes after the trackday at Oulton Park....
8 hours later

These Sport Editions come with 5mm ali wheel spacers which some muppet had hit with a hammer trying I guess to get the disc off to look at the brake shoes....

I ended up using a file to re-surface them so the wheels would actually sit on flush :what:

So after a fair bit of filing and some touching up of the caliper paint I used a little ali paste to to be able to the wheels back off in the future.

Then I spent an age cleaning and waxing the wheels!

And hey presto, eight hours later the brakes are bled
To be fair I did put two litres of fluid through the whole system

So, Don't get me to change your brake fluid. You'll be at mine all day :floor:
