Show us your aftermarket wheels...

Agreed Phil, each to their own, if you like mods, then do what you like.

My mods are pretty tame from the outset, map, exhaust, the odd bit of carbon and engine mounts pretty much sum up what I've done. I spend quite a bit on driver training and my race passion now though! :D

I would agree with you if your passion is track work and tracking hard then dont buy cheap aftermarket alloys , stick with light wieght OE alloys or spend serious money on race quality aftermarket ones as you can easily buckle and crack aftermarket alloys if abused . I have found all these different things whether OE or Aftermarket have their place and you need to consider what your going to use the car for before deciding on what bits you want. :thumb: :thumb:

My car is now 99% road use, it's done a few laps of the 'ring (~30) and may occasionally do a few more.

I'm happy with the way my Turbo is right now with stock wheels, my money is ploughed into my race driving in Germany in someone else's car! :D

Wow, Some nice wheels guys.

judging from the pics defo leaning more towards the 19's.

The 20's look classy and the 19's more purposeful.

These look almost like a stock wheel which I really like and the weight is around 10kg.

Problem is I cant find anywhere with a 8.5 front in stock only 11 or 12" rears.

These were going to be put on my NB 997 but are WB fitment

BBS CH-Rs:

Acquired from one FRP of this very parish :thumb:

Though I had them coated in GT Silver, they usually look like anthracite from brake dust

Vlad, what wheels are you running now, those HRE multi spokes just look so wrong !!

Agreed - The car certainly didn't ride great on the HRE as they were 20"'s.

I swapped them out pretty soon after I got the car for a set of the gen 1 turbo alloys.

but as of the weekend I have swapped the gen 1 alloys for the BBS CH-R.

Been around a lot of Porsches and a lot of wheels, I am not a fan of any aftermarket jobbies on a Porsche (with the exception of Vertini Magic Concave) most just look to me like a CAT D car or trying to hard. Porsche of all car manufactures spend a lot on R&D and more importantly looks, and they do get some OEM wheels so right.

Gen 2 Turbo's look so right !!

I would love a set of 19" LM`s
