Nine Excellence and my 997.1 Turbo

Yes 3.1 secs on MS109 but I don't think the race fuel makes a tangible difference to the 0-60.

You'll have to give me some pointers on how to archive that :)

Lovely write up and great to hear how happy you are with it

The spec sounds incredible :worship:

Though your endorsement of the D088 intercoolers (including the pipe work and mounts too by the looks of it?) have no doubt just cost me a few £k by going on my next upgrade list :damn:

Thanks mate, same thing happened to me seeing the various other threads and talking to other 9e28 owners :)

I'm happy to do this but you know I've blown up a sachs 890nm and rear draft sheared off around the bolts doing these hard launches! JZM said they'd never seen a rear drive shaft do this on a 997 turbo. My view was that I know she's making good power. The car had done about 85000 miles and 30,000 miles with maybe 150 VMAX runs under her belt. I'd also stuck her on a dyno at Litchfield just before the drive shaft and clutch let go. There's a serious amount of power on the race fuel map.

Thanks IMIA, this is exactly the type of reliability and usability I was after with this upgrade.

I know Richard drives his 9e28 to the Ring and SPA twice a year and has no problem running with 650S's and other similar cars on pump fuel and has had no mechanical issues. Mezger engine :thumb:

Love the car, love the mods, looks awesome, does look very similar to mine now. :thumb:

There is something quite special about 911 Turbo's. Already an amazing car and you turn it up a notch. Can't imagine what that's like. Job well done here guys.

:thumb: I'll report back next month when I have had a chance to run it on race fuel.

After my drama, they are sat in my spare room, however you need Aerokit first :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Seriously makes a massive difference. :) :) :)

Just a quick update, I finally got a set of buckets for my car which were removed from a GT2. Big thanks to HSC911 for sourcing these for me and arranging them to be fitted at Dovehouse

I was a little worried about what they would be like but I had a 1hr 50min drive back to London and they are very comfortable. At no point did I feel I needed to get out and take a break.

Some pictures below...

Removed the old seats first:

The difference in weight in between these two seats is unbelievable.

Dovehouse were great with the installation. Some coding was required to remove electric seats and add the new ones. No fault codes were thrown up on the way home :)

Both seats fitted and I am very happy with the final result.

They look a million dollars mate. Well done.

Are the old ones electric memory sports seats? If so if you're not keeping them could interested as I just can't get on with folding buckets. Feel I sit too high in them.

Cheers bud :)

Really too high? I initially thought they were a little low but soon got used to them.
They are the full electric 18 way adjustable sport seats (with the memory function) but I have no storage so I part exchanged them with HSC911 for these and I am sure he will be happy to do a deal with you :thumb:

I'm relaxed it was just a thought. Does that mean they adjust via the memory button on the door panel?

Be good to meet up nr Porsche Hatfield at some point - back off to Dubai soon
