Hi Speedtrap

On 4/11 you sent me a PM telling me your room choice. I replied on 5/11 but you haven't opened it yet so I've just left you a voicemail. Please get in touch asap so I can reserve your rooms at the hotels.

The packages I am offering include seats in Casino Square on Saturday... at the moment. I've just spoken to the organisers and they have very few places left in this stand now Wink

Cheers,
L'rs

I've booked 1150 out on 9 May (Couldn't get 1130 Confused )

As I'm not coming back with you all via that route it was actually cheaper to book a day return than a single journey Rolling Eyes

Hand Don't tell them I won't be on the 2350 later that night but getting the boat from Bilbao a few weeks later Grin

Will watch for Longers 3.4mile procession of cars as we fly over. Could not make the car logistics work around the day job. Doing Monaco by air then spa by 911 the week after.

Will look out for you guys at the bar in Monaco on Friday or at the racing on Saturday. Thumb

I was going to do the ferry until I realised the price did NOT include a cabin Surprised I don't want a timeshare in the boat so I'm now travelling back via Calais Rolling Eyes

Heads up if anyone is getting a toll tag. Put in your Eurotunnel reference and you can save the Euro10 fee. I'll let you buy me a Shandy in Monte Thumb

If the above link doesn't work or you've booked your tunnel then this will give you Eur5 off Thumb (and me)

It cheaper sometimes in peak times to book a standard return, at all other times I book two separate days returns. Must have done this 15 times now and never had a problem. Although some have, by booking the same route twice Laughing and getting royally shafted on a one way trip from the French side.

Quick question as heading down for the historic as part of my big 50 birthday celebration, due to tie constriants we are flying and staying in Nice but really envy you guys driving down (maybe next time)
My question is, we have grandstand tickets in stand K and wondered what the acces details where for say arriving late or leaving earlier? is access freely available into this area or are you restricted and effectively stuck for the duration of track action? Any other tips or advice welcome especially with regards to public transport in an out of Monaco from Nice

Many Thanks

Ian

Ian - its fine. You can come and go as you please throughout the day so long as you don't loose your means of entry. Get the train in and Monaco station is slap bang in the centre of Monaco. Everything is sign posted and sectioned off where you can and can't walk. I used to take a cool bag too with 2 sandwichess in and any other available space full of beer - about 30 half litre cans Grin

DO NOT TAKE ANY GLASS IN!
