Cleaning underside of the car

I am sure I read a thread on here about using a paint spray gun but using a chemical which cleaned the underside of the engine and suspension parts very well. There were pictures also.

I have tried searching with all the words I could remember in the thread, but have not been able to find it, can anyone help please.
