I use 10w40 millers on a 3.4 132k miles changed frequently.
Baz - It would be really nice if you could recommend some oil weights for us in a few different situations. Consider the UK climate to be assumed and usage to be normal UK roads, used year round and maybe 1 track day per year.
E.g.
1) 0 - 90k miles Daily 10k miles per year
2) 0 - 90k miles weekend use, 4k miles per year
3) 90k+ daily
4) 90k+ weekend use, 4k miles per year
Or would it just boil down to 0/5w40 for 1&2 and 5/10w50 for 3&4?
OK to use a semi meeting handbook specs if oil changes are frequent (6k)?
