Tyre time again - C4S - is there any technical/safety reason why I shouldn't put PS4 (225/40/18 ) on the front if I can only put PS2 (285/30/18 ) on the back? PS4 not made in 285/30/18.

Edited to add - I'm not mega precious about N ratings, although I will always chose them if available.
 
Yes, but don't mix tread patterns on the same axle.
