40K plus C4S???

:?:

Seems like a load of Boler Sh!t to me :floor:

Ridiculous, nothig exceptional about it.

Seems that a lot of dealers are way unrealistic with the C4S prices at the moment lots of cars above the 30k which seems to stay on there for ages.

I was genuilly interested in the following car myself. But after enquiries, the car has 2 long service history gaps and no real signs of regulr oil changes. Only 3 stamps from a now closed non porsche specialist garage in NI, no IMS upgrade, no clutch and no warranty provided...seems a little crazy.

That will hang around - not even a manual. I would say it's about £10k too much and only then assuming it is perfect (which I doubt it is). They certainly have some very expensive cars and lots of Porsches, so perhaps they are hoping someone with more money than sense (there is no shortage of money round there) sees it as an "investment" Porsche and get caught up in the sales bullsh*t...

How about a £50k C4S here, with 15k miles and a 5 year service gap 2008 to 2013 and last serviced in 2015:

It's that insane 'mileage over everything else' thing, isn't it.

Evening

Im no porsche expert but im very active on the web looking around & ive noticed that the dealers have started to ask higher prices for the c4s, not sure if they know something we dont? some out there are silly money but someone must be buying.

I remember when a few dealers started asking big money for 993s. I thought it would never catch on, being as I'd previously sold a lovely low miles manual Targa for £26k...

The best examples might fetch decent money... the 996 4S was the last 'turbo bodied' 911 in the genre of the 3.2 Supersport, 964 Anniversary and 993 S so has some cachet if nothing like the rarity... then others may get pulled up a bit. Which would be no bad thing as it helps me justify my ongoing programme of works to mine!

Don't really care what dealers ask for them. If they fetch the prices, good for them.

C4s

2006 996?

Am I the only one who thinks that, if you are going to try and take the pi$$ and advertise a car like that for that price you'd at least get the cracked reflector replaced first....

It just goes to show the contempt that some dealers have towards buyers :pc:
