Thought i'd share this.
I tried to open the lids and found both latches locked out.
Battery at a good state of charge. I tried:
Drove the car for a short while.
Key in door lock and unlock.
Internal lock switch, lock and unlock doors.
Lock and unlock with remote.
All to no avail.
I removed the sill mounted levers and cover (3 allen bolts) and locked and unlocked the car with the remote whilst still sat in and I could see that the solenoid powered actuator was moving fore and aft as it should. On the latch mechanisms there is a hook which hooks into a ring on the solenoid actuator this was apparently not engaged and was stroking without pulling the lock out latches. Reinstalled ensuring the hook was engaged. All is well now.
