Wheel spacer advice

Good morning all,

I emailed the wheels spacers site to ask for links to the parts i need. I'm looking for 7mm front and 15mm rear on a NB car with Carrera SII wheels, but found all the various spacer options a bit overwhelming and wasn't confident in choosing the correct/best ones. Hopefully the links below will help someone else in my situation.

John at wheelspacers kindly provided links to what i need. I wondered if you could cast an eye over them and just give your expert opinion on them and if it looks like everything required?. I would be much appreciated!.

The only thing that he didn't supply initially were links to new longer locking nuts/bolts, when i followed up to ask he sent the below. Does anyone have an alternative that doesn't require cutting the them to length?

'Ok didnt know you wanted locks, here
You need two different length so I would get the factory to machine 2 for you, picture attached

Hi roocat,
The spacers look good, 5x130 for the hole spacing and 15/7 for the thickness.
Wheel studs I found confusing on the site and received wrong ones so returned for full refund, I then found these on eBay,
eBay item number ,320956496526
If you search that sellers site all the different lengths are available, and most importantly the correct ball/dome washer that fits the wheel perfectly, these where also a great price and quality :thumb:

thanks for the info.

Am i right in saying i need 50mm (thread) bolts for the fronts and 60mm for the rears?

Hiya, the links below are what i found with some searching so good news we both came up with the same :thumb:

What I did find confusing are the bolts, coudnt make out the site etc... looks like Paul mentions same as well. I want black ones, yes you can spray them but not sure about term durability.

The eBay link are good value, well compared to Wheels UK

Just had my MOT done last week with the spacers on, mentioned it to the tester and he said they were absolutely fine, 7/F 15/R.
Bought mine off Fleabay got all the bolts, locking bolts and spacers for very little money, they fit perfect and no wobble at all. They are polished alloy but I dare say could be painted.

This picture may be of use, remember you need the studs to be longer by the same thickness of any spacer used so 15mm spacer would need a stud 15/17mm longer than usual 👍

I had to use 18mm bolts when fitting 15mm spacers no problems and luckily were also fine and reused when changing to 17mm spacers only done as I have a NB offset alloys on my WB car doing that plus the increase from 295 to 305 tyres got it right for me :thumb:

Yeah Phil, 18mm or even 19mm extra length is ok, with 15mm spacers, but make sure that the wheel spins freely and the studs have not protruded through the back, and catching on something.if they do they can be cut down to required length, but I found the before mentioned Ebay Sellar of stud's had a good range of lengths in Porsche fitment
And don't be tempted to go shorter as there would not be enough thread's to hold the wheel on as intended :thumb:

Thanks. Yeah funnily enough that was the picture i was using to work out what i needed. Still found it confusing though!.
That pic says 42mm is standard, other forums say 45mm, and the link on eBay says 28mm. I think the eBay one is talking about the thread length though whereas that pic must be the length of the whole bolt?. I think i'm getting there :)

thanks again.

hello, Guys,

Why dont you buy the 15 bolts and spacer kits on ebay?

With the spacers I have fitted 7/f 15/r the bolts that were supplied are 66.5 mm front and 74.5 rear.

I can't remember how standard length is measured, but I took one off my car, drew a picture and then put the measurements on my drawing to reference to

Does anyone know if 15mm rear spacers fit on a C2S with Carrera Sport wheels?
