What a shambles... cautionary tale when driving abroad

Does the angle the 911 ends up at does suggest that perhaps they had strayed onto the wrong side of the road? Easily done, especially when there are no white lines in the middle.

strikes me that truth is in short supply everywhere nowadays,

shocked or not, i would never sign something someone had doctored or something i did not understand, no way, not with a gun to my head.

Thanks a bunch :floor:

Blimey, I'd no idea they'd syndicated my article elsewhere!

I don't know if it makes any difference, but the rear seats weren't missing. I'd only removed the seat backs. The boys were perfectly comfortable on the seat base pads and leaning flat on the rear carpet wall. Those backs held no comfort or safety value IMO.

Potentially an mot failure.

I am an avid reader of the fourm but do not post often so if this is not relevant please ignore. I live and work in France north of Lyon in the Beaujolais region. For the last six years I have been using use an excellent independent porsche specialist who is highly respected in the area. We are close to two motorways. Is there a case for the forum to build up a section of friendly porsche owners, forum members across Europe so if anyone hits some trouble of any sort there will at least be a point of contact who speaks English?

Incidentally anyone with plans for this summer passing nearby is welcome to call for a coffee or a glass or two of wine.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to create the PPN (Porsche Panic Network) of those willing to give a little guidance to stranded Porschephiles. A list of friendly Independents for mechanical failures would be good too. :thumb:

That's a great offer, certainly should I find myself in jinjaninja's situation it would be good to have some support. And wine.
