Illuminated side steps

my understanding is you can contact him and ask for many variations.

he also makes them for Mercedes and Tesla cars..

i recall some people in the UK buying a set.

at the pice - they make a pretty good scuff guard for the OEM sills...

forgot to say - stuck on with double sided tape.
lights are plumbed into either footwell lights or into fusebox.

the forum post shows how 1 guy did it I think.

Can any of you guys that have them tell me when they come on? is it just when you open the doors? do they have the soft on/off like the interior lighting? What im trying to figure out is, is it just as simple as hacking into a 12v source (interior lighting), or will it mess with the controllers (Error warnings etc...)
