Hi All,

I had the weekend at home and the conditions on the roads seemed great, after I had been to the shops for the Sunday morning paper, in the Mercedes.

So I though, lets get the girls out for some fun!! LOL

First up, I took the 996 C2 Manual coupe for a 30 mile spin.... around town warm up, quick pit stop to M&S and then across country hoon! My youngest son (12) absolutely was in heaven as the induction noise (K&N) was roaring at the mid to upper end of the rev range.

We were home for lunch and then it was the turn of the 996 Turbo S Manual Coupe...8 miles of warm up...in to town again, stopped for coffee, checked the tyre pressures and then off for dual carriage0-way happiness!! Followed by 15 miles of country road....This time I had both my boys in the car 15 and 12 years old......I think they are getting the Porsche bug....but the eldest thinks we should get a McLaren!! LOL.

Moral of the story... have fun, drive safe...life is too short!

PS. The roads are very slippery, even when they appear bone dry!! Drive safe guys.

How the hell do you get a 15 year old and a 12 year old in your car? The one in the back must be moaning all the way! :)

What colour is the car? Will keep a look out for you if you ever make it to Hampshire!

Hi Mike,

The C2 is silver with metallic grey turbo twists and polished lip.
The Turbo S is Black, aero kit, techno alloys.

A drive over to Hampshire would be fun as soon as the weather gets better!!

The 15 year old was fine in the front and the 12 year old started to moan after 30 mins!! LOL

For now, they fit...just hahahahaha.

Nice one!

I've test-driven a McLaren (650S) and it's a bit "Playstation"; no feedback, just a numbers-chasing game.

It's the way he tells them....

My Turbo S cabrio is Atlas Grey (looks black) with same wheels as you.

Sometimes seen in the Reading area, if weather is OK

I shall keep a special eye out for you then Mike.

Always keen to spot another 996 Turbo S on the road.....a very rare sight!!
