Are the tandem pumps same on both gens of cars ?

I'm not totally sure but I don't think the 997.2 has a tandem pump, certainly not one the same style as the 997.1. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm mistaken.

Having been through the aggro of replacing one on my gen1 I know where it is on the car ....

Had my gen2 on the lift this week whilst X pipe was fitted.
It definitely has a tandem pump,

It looks the same, complete with brown rust :frustrated: :puh:
No idea if design has changed.

Warning - there are different types of tandem pump

**** Apologies - I meant to post this under the previous tandem pump question thread*****

There are 2 different tandem pumps that Porsche fitted to the Gen 2 997 - one of 97mm diameter and one of 90mm diameter. Mine is a July 2010 C2 and has the larger 97mm pump. I'm not sure if there is definitive statement on which pump is fitted to which model..but defo worth checking your VIN with Porsche to find out what pump to order

Hope this helps
