Over six feet tall? Drive a manual?

The 996.1 GT3 buckets are available from Teile, in the right colour for my interior - does anyone know what the height difference is between the sports seats and the buckets using the Porsche runners?

If it is lower then this is a potential (expensive) route forward.

However- I'd like to keep the heating feature of the present seats.

Some Googling shows that this has been done in the US- anyone know if it's been done in the U.K.?

EDIT'd to add:

Looks like you'd need three heating pads, one for the back and two for the base as that comprises two cushions to (presumably) allow the lower part of the harness through:

Control unit seems to be under the seat so would need refitting to the new seats .

Only 2 element out puts so if fitting 3 then spliceing one of them would be needed .. that part would need checking though as it might be load dependent on the temp side.

Most important part is finding out the height difference with these seats fitted though and will it be enough .

Hello everybody,

I've made another batch of spacers.

I had problems with the company that was making the spline for me, so I had to find another solution and took several months to sort out.

In while, I've improved it:

- the ugly crappy rubber boot has been replaced with a CNC concave aluminuim shroud, matt black anodized.
- the rib is machined in the aluminium and not glued
- the kit will come with fitting instructions in English and extra wire for the horn. The other wires doesn't require extension.
