Check out the yellow one same spec as mine just about. How can I go to Tescos when they publish those prices?

Oh no you will have to shop at the M&S foodhall now

I was at Waitrose recently and one of the staff had a chat with me because he has a 993! No wonder it's so expensive. Surely Waitrose must be the supermarket of choice for the Illuminti? They could dump the Royal warrant and claim "By Appointment To The 993 Illuminati".

What is their motto again? Never knowingly oversold?

My C2 fits in nicely at my local Waitrose as its the smallest and narrowest car in the car park and squeezes in nicely between 2 big SUVs (Twyford, in Berkshire - the Prime Minister's favourite)

I'm having a real dilemma of what to buy for the Monte Carlo gig in May

:hand: But that aint it

Will the 964 Celebration be gone by then? ....... or don't you want to pile on the miles? and keep away from the Boxster 987 DFI market that belongs to me ....... ;)

I would be going in the 964, except I'm thne travelling down to Southern Spain for 2 weeks so all that is a bridge too far. :nooo: If it was jyst UK-Monte-UK no problem in the celebration.

I think come May next year there will have been some market corrections and the sub-prime 25 bagger 993 will be around

:?: 987. Ah yes I want PDK and you still want to stir it up with a stick so you're safe.

I did start to have an interest in a Alfa 4C but the build quality is supposed to be shoite and they're wider than a Range Rover :what: General feedback is 'Nice to drive, but not nice to own'.

They also have a 997.1 turbo Tip on the website with GT3 alloys and the write up talks about the "revised engine with direct injection and the introduction of the 'PDK" dual clutch..." And "the 997 was a lot faster and lighter as the car could do 0-60MPH in three seconds".

http://specialistcarsltd.co.uk/product/porsche-997-turbo-tiptronic-3/

I presume the first paragraph is intended as some background info and meant to be read in isolation, but it could potentially be misleading for a 911 newbie who may not know the full range available. A fairly poor show from a "specialist"!

Thought you were after a 981 PDK? If I take you 964 off your hands for , I don't know, let's say 25 bags, as I'm feeling festive; then you have a nice little deposit for your 981!

981 is the 'preferred choice'. Trouble is I'm having such fun in my CooperS at the minute and it might just make the trip to Monaco

Malton

Do you think a garage like Specialist Cars make there money on service and repair work and car sales are just a bonus. They seem to have the same stock in for months on end?

"The Porsche 993 like the 964 came as a couple" .. WTF!!
nothing like coming as a couple !! ...you would think a 10 year old had put those adverts together , who is in charge at that place ? , laughable nonsensical dribble ,im embarrassed for them , rip off Britain right there :nooo:

Doesn't matter how long it takes to sell as long as it sells for more than they gave for it. It's money in the bank. They can sit on it as long as needed I suspect, assuming as you say they cover overheads by repairs etc. They've been around a long time and should I imagine have a lot of cash in cars.

Zingari, you only live once, you need a 981 with PSE in your life. Best time to buy over Xmas and will hold its value well now that Porsche have confirmed how crap the 4 pot is in the 718 GTS :thumb: You won't be able to buy a noise like it in ANY car soon
