Looking to sell my Guards Red C4S to fund buying another 911 with a better spec. Anyone have any advise on how to shift mine rather quickly? I understand I'll lose a bit of money trying to sell it quick but we buy any car are offering me the lowest I've ever seen so that not an option.

That looks very nice indeed and rare in Guards. How quickly do you need to sell? I would think if priced well you will be able to sell that quite quickly privately - here, Pistonheads and as an Ebay classified would work well. The alternative is to ring around some Porsche specialists as they will be able to buy it off you - Kenny Dunn is relatively local to you http://www.kennydunn.co.uk/

Thanks for your input! Much appreciated. Will send a few emails out to dealers in the morning and we'll see how I get on.

A sensible mileage C4S in rare Guards red will be very desirable. Any Porsche Specialist would be keen to buy it but don't let them steal it.

Check current asking prices on AT/PHs to see what you should be getting. i.e Deduct a maximum of 20% from dealer asking prices

Is it manual or Tip' :?:

Thanks for the advise. Going by what you have said, the value falls roughly into what I was thinking of advertising the car for!

It's a tiptronic :)

I know someone who is in the market for one of these, although as per the norm they ideally want manual, however I can pose the question, can you roughly advise on what your looking for cost wise?

Great C4S Lewis! Very rare in Guards Red and suits the turbo body so well. Shame you're parting with the car. Its in great condition from what you told me and all the service work carried out. If it was a Manual I would buy it....
Great advice from the others, research current market values (on the rise) and speak with specialists. Good luck, I am sure it will be snapped up in no time.
