997 TT lambda sensors ?

Can anyone tell me if the sensors from a 3.8 can be used with the 3.6 slightly different part numbers?

Nope, they're different
 
I tend to fit the correct items and have never tryed but i can say this for you ..

Different part numbers tend to be different parts even if they look similar .

From looking at the year difference on those 2 parts then i would definitely say no you cant swop them .. you have to use the correct one for your car .

With out checking im sure they work differently with one having an air cell and a breather pipe whilst the other is just a wide band .
