911 Millennium Edition. Thinking off

I would consider looking at selling it through a specialist... If is as rare as 2 UK car they would be able to give you a realistic valuation...

Are you really sure you want to sell it? You'll be gutted if in 10 years they are fetching 200k  :thumb:

Don't think it will get to that much as some SC, RS or Super Sports etc.
911 Worldwide, with reports of just 3 in the UK but never confirmed is rare but also a Limited Edition over looked in many way here and the rest of the world.
Last one in the UK sold for near 40K with one in Germany I think on the market at 57K.

It's a nice car but I can't see where the £40k comes from. It's a standard C4 with special paint, interior & chrome twists ( which you don't have) but if someone is willing to pay that then I can see why you'd want to sell.
Good luck whatever path you chose.

That was the last one sold last year or the year before...
Only 911 ever made worldwide with stories that maybe 10 have been written off and only 3 ever made it to the UK. Standard C4 with extras and special paint and lower than normal, and should have Turbo twist which should be chrome finished.

Without wanting to put it down, you've got to be realistic.

The 996 40 Jahre Jubilà¤um had the X51 powerkit in addition to the C4s front and special paint, interior (natural leather), etc. There are a few of those available in the UK for between 33 and 40k.

I'd have to agree with Jonny in that it's a standard C4 with paint and interior options. On top of that, it doesn't have the original chrome wheels. Whilst they're a matter of taste, the potential collector may not necessarily look favourably upon that.

Yes, it's rare. But I can't recall any reviews of it at the time, let alone any more recent ones as mechanically it's no different from standard.

If it was mine, I'd probably hang on to it as it looks to be a nice car.
Good luck either which way :)

There was one advertised on carandclassic in Kent about two years ago. Memory is hazy, but IIRC it was something under 100k miles (maybe 70 something?), visibly a bit tatty (not bad but not special) from the pictures and late teens / early £20k's. As I say my memory of it is not very clear. I discounted it on the basis of condition, distance (irrelevant) and lack of added value.
