My 1998 Boxster 2.5 project begins...

On my mod list.

New rear tyres fitted today. All expense spared

Its time for an oil and filter change so I sourced 10 litres of 5/40 fully synthetic and a Bosch filter from my local accessory shop and all for the princely sum of £37.

Well chaps in an unexpected turn of events I have accepted an offer for my Boxster that I really couldn't refuse!
It's been an amazing car for me and as recently as this morning I had a plan for future mods but things change quickly and the car has now gone.
The good news is that I am looking for a new adventure,so watch this space.

I didn't even have chance to change it!!
On the positive side it will hopefully be ok to use on my next motor.

The Boxster has just been posted for sale on Gumtree by the guy I sold it to... :thumb:

Late to the party, but what a thread! I'm off work ill and it's below freezing outside but this thread made me want to get out to my Cayman and start pottering.

Inspirational stuff! I want to have a go at my leather but don't have the minerals.

Can we ask how much it went for? When and if I have to let my Cayman go for something more practical... I'll be looking out for a 'Project Boxster' me thinks.

:worship:

Aww that was a great little car :thumb:

I would have another in a flash but the market has risen quite a bit for entry level boxsters otherwise I would be doing another one!

A similar spec 996 is better value at the moment.

A mate picked one up a couple of years ago, it was OPC Reading's Showcar many moons ago. It has every single possible option, it has the same seats as his 996.2 GT3.

That was 6k though but still good value in mine and his book.
