Each to their own but I think Fuchs are best left to pre 89 G Series 911's.
Agree! Don't quite suit a 993 or 964...
But to give Tobesetc an idea of them on a blue 993...

Also maybe consider Gemballa Le Mans? Then again they may be too similar to RS wheels, which you've decided you don't like anymore...

I vote BBS LMs 8)

Fuchs are never going to look quite right on a 993 with the wings IMHO.

Got to be BBS LMs or e88s?

So, I'm continuing to wreck my car in the eyes of the Illuminati, but that's OK. It's only a car and it isn't for sale!

Having fitted the small RS aero kit, which I love, I'm finding I don't like the look of the Turbo wheels. Too contradictory - mixing RS and Turbo look :-/

I'm not making an RS Replica so I don't want RS wheels. Don't like them, either so they are ruled out.

Thus, I'm trying to find some replacements. The only certainty is that they'll be 18", so don't bother telling me that 17" is much more comfortable in sandals ;-)

The options so far - new Fuchs at £1950 + vat. RUF wheels (pictured), second hand, for almost exactly the same price.

Then today I saw this car - and love the wheels: http://fueltank.cc/blog/volpatti-gt
They are Victor Equipment Zehn and are slightly cheaper (I think) than Fuch or RUF.

Thoughts?
Like BBS LMs.....Like what your doing with the car....been making mine my own for years and enjoy it :thumb:

Mods are appreciable if reversible.

IMHO Fuchs do not suit the 993, it's just the name that appeals :coat:

If aftermarket / Porsche specific then Brombacher look good;

I suppose it depends on budget as it's as easy to spend a few hundred on a set of rims as it is to spend a few thousand.

Have a look at some of my faves:

Split Rims
BBS e50
BBS e88
Rotiform LH-R
BBS RS

Single Piece
Gemballa Le Mans (I have a staggered set if interested)
MY02's
OZ Alleggerita
Forgeline Monoblock GS1R

Good luck in your decision. :thumb:

I'm not sure if they'll fit offset wise but these are cool -

And I'm guessing these are the exact ones off the Total911 996, for sale here-

I love them and thought about buying them for my 996 but I don't think they'd suit the Aerokit route I'll be going down.

Cool wheels. 8)

Offsets are too aggressive for a NB 993 unfortunately. Cool option though.

I have bog standard cup wheels on my car but painted black

It's all very subjective but I think the best bet would be Cableguy's MY02 wheels

Original Porsche, pretty lightweight and suit the 993 quite well and easy to clean

I know you'd need to spend another £200 or so on a re-furb, but are these a decent deal? - Linky

17" unfortunately. Good price.
