Hi guys car passed MOT yesterday no problems except it only just passed emissions reading was 0.27 limit is =or less than 0.3
Car is due a minor service but don't think that would cause an emission problem if it is one
Any thoughts welcome.

WELL i have /had the same problem and ive traced it down to a one way valve on the carbon canister that sticks open and causes the effect that the engine has a airleak and plays havoc with emissions , ive changed cats , lambas sensors and maf

When the car is serviced they will check fault codes , that will say if any thing has failed ...

Mention to them this problem and they can check adaptions at the same time as a look at the exhaust for leaks or anything obvious .

Its not a huge problem to find for a garage so long as they are asked to look for this fault at the time of serviceing it .

Tell us and we fix it .. dont tell us and we dont know theres a problem to find .. so we might not fix it :D
