Yep those are the 'default' rust areas for 964/993 that most body shops familiar with these cars can easily sort out.

It does help being able to unbolt the wings.
 
holy sh*t, that is some scary stuff. great video documenting the disassembly

to what extent do we think 993s might suffer from the same extensive rusting, is it just a matter of time, or was much done differently when Porsche built the 993? I know there was an improved design around the kidney bowls...anything else? :dont know:
 
That was worth watching ...... I would like to catch up with the rest of this restoration.
