How best to connect my iPhone to play music? I have the PCM2 satnav thing..

No easy easy way unless you have one of the following:
- FM - aux connector
- Dension
- mobridge
-

Thanks..
I called a car audio specialist.. £65 for the FM/Aux thing.. :) Going to get tomorrow.

Got one of these from an on line auction site , works really well. £13.20 free postage

I don't think I would like that monstrosity hanging out my dashboard..

Agreed, I looked at these things this weekend, think I'll go with the Dension Gateway.

I got an isimple /tranzitblu HD. Basically splices into the FM signal of the radio, looks 100% OEM and you connect to it via phone bluetooth. It's the perfect mix of price and sound. Was about £120 all in whereas densions etc are nearly £400 or so. I fitted it myself relatively easily and i'm not any good at that sort of thing really.

I have one of these. It fits on the back of the PCM and replaces the defunct mobile phone card. Works by mimicking the CD player and plays tracks from my iphone's music library. Also allows hands-free voice calling.

Hi gurmot
That looks like a simple option, they only do them for pcm1 though,
Dension and mobridge look so complicated in comparison!

Looks great, I've got the CD-R 23 with multichanger and fibre optic cable so the Dension looks like the best option. You can get the complete kit for £197, looks fairly straight forward enough to install.

I've got the £13 one from e-bay. It's excellent for the money and keeps the car original.
