EBay is probably your best friend on this but in my book this is at best £100 plate.
This forum is tough on plate sales.

Hi, is the registration number on a vehicle or on a retention certificate, and ready to go straight onto a vehicle?
thanks
diver

If my name was Walter I might have been tempted.

Irish plates do not fare well unless they spell something - BAZ etc.. Having said that it's a 2+4 so I'd expect ~£400 and a good chance buy it Now/Offers on eBay :thumb: Don't let a specialist company handle it as the price they tell you its worth they've either been at the evo stik or wearing rose tinted specs and you'll never sell it

I'm sorry to say you may have to flick this over one of those reg dealers. I keep flirting with the idea of buying one, but it would be pertinent to me and worthless to everyone else bar a very small pool of people with my initials. I emailed the DVLA about my ideal reg and they advised it's a £2.2k plate starting price, more like £4k once auction is finished. I'd rather spend it on fuel driving my car on a holiday through Europe.
The plate you have makes it a very small pool indeed, even though the format of the characters is somewhat desirable.

Good luck :thumb:

WZ 1261 would appear to be an old Belfast plate from the late 1960s/early 1970s. My Dad had a Vauxhall Victor with the plate TZ 575, so your reg brings back fond memories of a bygone era for me.

Good luck with the sale.

Maybe that Zuckerberg fella who owns Facebook from the states has a son called William?
It would be perfect for him, Just a thought
