Another photo opportunity I couldn't resist.

I was aware that 12k miles was coming up and a combination of the digital clock and some very low sun over the Northumberland roads was worth a try.

I'm no David Bailey and my camera is nothing special but I wanted to try and get some shots to emphasize the GT3 curves.

Amazing daylight at this time of night, hope you like my attempt at novice photography.

Cheers, Keith.

I do

Thanks T8, much appreciated.

One day I'll manage to get some shots without the trees coming out of the roof!

Cheers, Keith

Thanks ragpicker,

The shots were taken just outside the entrance to Kirkharle, very Capability Brown!

Cheers, Keith.

That's lovely :worship:

I'd space the plate out to read Y 3GT Y

:thumb:

Thanks HSC911,

The front and rear plates were bought from two different suppliers.

Both suppliers were very clear from the start that the VOSA requirements were not up for debate. They both have regular visits from VOSA inspectors and their business continuity depends on staying within the legal requirements.

I'm happy to stay on the right side of the law and have enjoyed the result.

Cheers, Keith.

So you managed to get it done Keith, right at the 9.11pm marker, good job :thumb: Lovely atmospheric shots of your pride and joy, Lancelot would be proud of the planning...

You'll have to drive it a bit more now to get it past the 13,000 miles mark and get rid of that suspicion. Just look at it as an excuse to put another 2000 miles on it....when's the next run out.....

I am with Porschekit. This post should be pulled for lack of miles.............

Guilty as charged by Porschekit and Pip!

I was anticipating a bit of an onslaught for having a 12 year old car with 12k miles. In mitigation, I have only owned it for 12 months and have two other cars in use and another for sale.

Play fair lads, I was trying to get some nice photo's and drove over 50 miles to do that rather than taking them inside my garage.

Cheers, Keith.

Great result Keith. The car looks really good in the photos.

Did you do 12021 the following lunchtime? We should start a thread on 'interesting mileage' images

Based on history to date, I won't hold my breath for 120,000

Hi John,

I didn't think of any other numeric combination. They are many and varied, I suppose I might take more notice now you have raised the issue.

Given my 3.2 has over 172kms showing, I could try for the reveral of a date this year? Perhaps not...

Cheers, Keith.
