Mac996t said:Battery a possibility but it's less common for them to go at this time of year.Get the specialist to check it's charging properly too, the fault you describe matches what happens if the alternator fails and the battery discharges and the voltage goes low.
You don't recall what the volt meter was reading at the time by any chance?
