Magic sponge

I'd read a while ago about using a magic sponge to remove stubborn scuff marks from interior trim and finally got round to trying it today. Before and after pics below, any scratches in the plastic are still there obviously but it's now scuff free!

Do we get a clue as to which magic sponge provided the miraculous improvement?
 
Yes the one in the link above is the kind of thing you want.

Several brands make them and they are just a simple sponge but they do the trick!
 
If you are brave enough ........ and that`s my disclaimer :wink: .... If you waft a hot air gun over it a few times it will bring the grain up a bit on the plastic and improve the look a tad more.

Don`t overdo it though, it`s a fine line between perfect and perf****ed
