Buckets are rare in a turbo but could you live with the red?

You are 100% correct about the warranty situation. The changes resulting from the remap will still be logged in the DME data, and (in theory) should be picked up during the 101-point check - it may have already been logged if the car had been in post-remap.

That's not true, the 101 point check will not pick up the remap.

Porsche OPC would have to send Porsche Germany a copy to establish that the car has been remapped.

Whether they would do that is anyone's guess

I know from personal experience that if a tech knows what they are looking at in the DME report, they will spot it. If they regard the 101-point check, or approved used car check, as a box ticking exercise then they might miss it. They will be looking for any evidence of tampering with the ECU, resulting in a non-zero value in one of the fields in the report.

I'd have it, but too much dough :bandit:

Its a lot of cash and especially if you don't use it, im telling myself the pdk might draw me to it more but unless I'm willing to letter two dog lumps sit on the back seats that's unlikely. ha

The white car has gone but unlikely i'd of gone white again but was cheaper and from a Porsche specialist.

Were the .2 Turbo still this money 2 years ago, wasnt this blue car low 60's when at TF last year?

Some advice regarding bucket seats..

Make sure you try them :D

The first 997.2 Turbo S I test drove had them, and I very quickly found out there were not for me. Yes they do look good, but are a nightmare to get in and out of IMO, not heated, non electric, and can't come close to the adaptive sports seats for comfort and flexibility (I think 18 way is what I have).

Buckets were seriously awkward to get in and out of, so for daily or even regular use for me were not an option. I'm 5'11, average weight, so did not expect to have any issue with them, and before trying considered them a plus.

Red leather...I can see the appeal in a way and do like it a bit, it's something different, although when it's all over the dash and side too it's a bit OTT IMO.

Works better on white car, if you like that sort of look.

I actually found the opposite to be true, i find the buckets far more comfortable than the standard seats, i was a passenger in one the other other day with the sports seats and found them too narrow and they dug in my back... the buckets for me are perfect (although being heated in the winter would be a bonus :D).

As I said on chat Bund.... They are being ultra cheeky at 69k.. its not worth that... 64-5k at most...
It needs nothing chaps, prior to sale and would have needed anyway it had a HUGE Northway service to include plugs and brake fluid and a complete set of Michelein Cups with 600 miles only....
So I spent 2.5k for the new owner.... like others have said... go and see it in the flesh as I did when TF was selling it... pictures do it no justice....
The only issue I had was the known PDK box loom fault where it keeps spitting out a over heating fault, its a replacement loom thats needed in the box... so i had this done with obviously fresh oil and a 1k bill...
Happy to chat to any further potential buyers but the dealer has it up far too rich....

It was/is an amzing car with an amazing spec, loved every minute of it but due to health and change of life... I've gone for another German fully loaded mota.....

Thanks for the info yesterday, I would like to see the car as you and others have said it looks better in the flesh, I've put my X50 up for sale, I've had chats with dealers before around this money and although we agree about the 64/65 we know they will be coming from the side of you're asking for 5-6k off like 69 is set in stone because they say so and if I talk about a part x it will be like they're doing me two favours. Haha

I'd need at least one of my cars to go so if they say yes to mid 60's I can accommodate the car.

I won't cry if someone else buys it.
