Whilst trying to lower the roof the warning light flashes on the dashboard with a single click coming from the rear seats. Nothing else happens. Could it be a sensor or low oil feeding the pump?

The handbrake switch or handbrake not on will stop the roof from working .

The boot lid open or boot lid switch not working will stop the roof from working .

The rear windows not dropping will stop it from working.

Low fluid in the pump .. various switches .. etc

What does the roof do when opened does the latch work .. do the windows drop ..

More info please :)

When you apply the handbrake, does the handbrake light illuminate on the dashboard? If not then your handbrake switch is knackered and needs replacing. It's a two minute job to replace the switch, but about an hour to disassemble the centre console to get to it...
