Hi all
Been without a 911 since last Oct when I sold my 993 which I owned for 6 yrs.
As thread title suggests, I'm collecting my next 911 tommorow and have to say I'm rather exited
I've been deliberating between several different cars and weighing up pro's / cons as my recent posts will illustrate.

Anyway, just wanted to post as really looking for forward to collection and my next chapter of 911 ownership :thumb:

I'll post more info. (and pics as we know :useless: ) but until then any guesses?

:congrats: on your new car.

My guess would be a 996 C4S.

No sleep tonight then. :thumb:

As you're asking the question on the 996 sub-forum my guess is a 996T.

Whatever, enjoy today.

They're all great (and they are all "proper" 911s)

Welcome back to 911 ownership.

p.s. 996 C2 is the best/£ :thumb:

Hey all
Sorry for late response, long day..
Train to Leicester from east Grinstead and then journey back.

Enough about the commute, and more about the car..

Thanks for the guesses but points go to Terry with his guess.
She's a 2002 996 Turbo, manual in Seal Grey.
Great service record with lots of big item tickets ticked off of late. 67k on the clock..
Bought privately from a enthousiast PCGB owner that also owns a lovely Guards red 993 C4 coupe so I knew the Turbo had been in good hands

Had the car PPI'd and all they could really find is it needed front disks and pads which are a "wear and tear" item anyway and it's already booked in at precision next Saturday for this. Other than that, nothing.
Thought that was a great PPI.. :thumb:

Anyway, the journey back from Leicester was slow due to bank Hols traffic so yet to really release full 0.8 bar of turbo pressure but looking forward to experiencing this soon. Anyway, I have Lemans in 2.5 weeks time to have a good run in her and stretch legs (so to speak).

Enough of the waffle..
Some pics ..

Having a drink (nothing but the best)

Really very pleased to have managed to find such a great car!
Like I've said it'll be going in to precision for the brakes next weekend (otherwise I may have come to beulieu) but looking forward to getting the car back, giving it a detail, and getting out and enjoying !!
