Seller says "WHAT MATTERS MORE IS THE QUALITY OF THE WORK AND THE INTEGRITY OF THE SELLER."

Come off it love, you've tried to sell it privately on here, got outed & the ad taken down. Then you try to palm it off SOR with Kent Cars by being "economical with the truth". It's now on the PH "GT3 & RS avoidance" thread and you are still not being completely honest about the extent of the damage & details of the repairs. You need to woman up & realise that you over-paid for the salvage, the repairs weren't as cheap as you hoped & that if you want to move it on you need to trim £10-15k off your asking.

The integrity quotient is pretty low on the evidence so far...

+1...

If anyone is looking for a genuine non story car, my old one is now being advertised. Not on SOR, bought outright from me a few weeks ago.

All invoices/MOTs from new. As good as they come despite mileage and some nice reversible (if you so wish) mods.

At least the spoiler has been sorted :D . Purchased from 9apart ? She seems to be a Qashqai dealer which is perhaps pronounced 'Crash car' :D :D :D

Sorry I could not resist.

At least there is an indication of the previous damage although 9e's statement on the previous post didn't really lead me to believe all was as well as has been intimated. I could have misunderstood 9e's post though.

I wonder what happened to this bit:

"The rear spoiler had a crack in the carbon and the end plates missing, unsure what was best to buy a new carbon one or an original GT3 one i left it as repaired and matt black. I have since learnt this perhaps is a little 'amateur' to quote on you folks so i have ordered the end plates and will attach.

I don't see any end plates or the carbon fibre spoiler. A little quick to put out the fire and clearly did not want to spend anymore money over and above the OEM surf board.

Possibly optimistic with price  .

I stated 'I won't make a comment on the condition of the car as that would be inappropriate - we have seen it just the once last month for a geometry. As always anyone interested in the car should do their own checks on the car. '

The car came into specs on the geometry. However to be clear, that does not mean there is no chassis damage - further inspection would be needed in order to give an opinion.

For example I have seen on other cars where the chassis leg has been heated and bent into shape which is not the correct solution for repair.

Hence my reply in bold - do your checks.

Ken

I think it would be a decent buy at the right price - I was interested when it was at Copart but the bidding got out of hand. Ideally would have preferred to buy it in its pre-repaired state but could be ok if its been repaired to a decent standard. I'm currently in the market but it would need to be a lot cheaper for me.

So are you saying the Guards Red 996 GT3 Registration LX53 NRN has some history behind it?

(now itll come near the top of google search ;-)

On my first ever trip to the Nurburgring, on the eve of my first ever trackday there, the driver showed my his in-car footage of this crash on his 'phone during dinner.

It was probably a 'good thing' for me to see it, but it did nothing to steady my nerves!

one reason why im not interested in the ring - id end up on a youtube compilation

Not necessarily - my big crash there was only recorded by my own onboard and to my knowledge none of my 4 non-contact spins ever made YouTube either. If I could go there regularly for a decade without ending up on a compilation then I am sure that you can too. :paperbag:

can i try it in your car? :?: :?:

3 months later it returns with another £15k added to the price :hand:

How did she shift that?!

Notice that it now has the incredibly rare optioned electric club sport bucket seats...

Still no indication of damage though...
