The Porsche 930 Turbo wasn't exactly always the easiest car to drive. It was a combination of short wheelbase, rear-mounted engine and the turbo lag (specially on the first generation cars) that made the Porsche 930 Turbo quite a handful, even getting it the title of 'Widowmaker". Things did get better with the later iterations, specifically post-1978, when the engine was bored out to 3.3-litres instead of the 3.0-litre on the original 911 Turbo, while adding an air-to-air intercooler. This meant that while the car was better at not spinning off into the bushes, it was a lot, lot better at being a serious way to perform neck exercises... at least till the turbocharger kept boosting power till 6000rpm.
