Pentosin leak from main reservoir

The engine is out of my 997 Turbo Gen 1 for some major service work and to source a pentosin leak.

Well its been sourced and its one of those annoying/costly ones.

Its not the operating cylinder (notice the well sealed red clip)

Its coming from the main reservoir that connects the two lines for the low pressure return lines from the power steering rack and slave
See in picture the annoying little red clips (known as festo fittings I believe)

The specialist has been informed by Porsche that the red connectors are not supplied with the replacement pipes but are in fact part of the reservoir unit (circa £500).

They are trying to source the connectors direct from the manufacture but I am not holding my breath (no insult to the specialist just the pessimist in me I guess ).

So does anyone have any experience with this or maybe a bright idea worth pursuing before I bend over to Porsche.

and a little engine porn to brighten the post

Sorry, can't help but the Mezger looks lovely!
Coolant lines all good into the block?

buddy search for some hydraulic pressing place near or call some one like and sure they can fix it or guide you in the right direction

should hopefully be a cheap fix
