That's a new RE image it yes? I went out today, been out a lot lately, and it was absolutely superb. RRS is so capable.

Yup, 2016 manufactured, 2017 registered Royal Enfield Bullet 500.

Unlike yours, it's not capable at all  But another 70 miles down on it today and loving it. 150 miles since picking it up on Wednesday. 30 miles from being fully run in now.

It's 'interesting' and 'characterful'.

I'm of the opinion that 2 wheels beats 4 any day of the week arry so congrats on your purchase.

I'm doing some supercar driving thing in 2 weeks, have a Lambo, Fezza, Aston, R8 and Nissan GTR to hoon round the track, will be interesting to see if I get a similar buzz as I get from my bikes.

600 mile run in procedure"‹ achievement unlocked.

First 6.8 miles of full throttle. It's no quicker, just makes for more vibration and noise

It Has to have a Boxer Engine ;-))

I would have thought that 911 drivers would insist on a Boxer engined bike
(tongue firmly in cheek)

Changed to one of these recently.

I used to use my bikes for my daily commute. 90 miles a day regardless of the weather. I remember using a brand new Ducati 748S all winter once. Maybe not the ideal commuting bike but motorists certainly moved over quickly when they heard the race exhausts.

But now im older I prefer the comforts of a car!

I still have my bikes but with having a young family I just dont get the spare time to use them. :(

Pre-retirement gift to myself after working out the pension numbers and the deal was too good to pass up:

:hand: Probably not on the road until March as I don't fancy my gonads sticking to the seat :floor:
