Don't regret it - enjoy it! We have been a couple of times and the experience/ cars were great. Then found it like Robertb says so choose to do other events now. Always really glad we went and would go again.
A bit like F1, used to go to Silverstone or Spa and enjoyed the whole thing. But now go to GT and WEC events - Silverstone the other weekend was fantastic. Quieter and fewer crowds but great atmosphere and racing.
