That's them mate

That's looking great. Tardis is good stuff. I tried a load of Autosmart products out on mine at the weekend. Red 7. Cobalt, topaz and their wax. Was impressed with it. Not sure I'm brave enough to try and remove the odd swirl mark with a machine though. Good work.

nice pics kev, how rude of somebody to park a rusty old jag in the background i would have blurred them out :D

Great exposure on the photos kev :thumb:

What oil have you put in ? You know my cars background with LTT and millers nano plus service report.

Had the wheels done over the weekend and they look great. Makes the car almost new.

Had a re-gas this morning of the A/C system and All's good again.

It's driving like a new car also after the service with the intake mod and bmc air filter

If you haven't already, get that sorted. The car feels free and a lovely howl gets the hairs on end 8)

You would be fine with a DA machine and there are plenty of good guides to follow .
Have a practice on someone else's first !

Ian,
I'm using Shell Helix Ultra 5/40, had it serviced a couple of weeks back and also had an LTT fitted as a preventive .

Where did you get your wheels done as I have a set of Carrera Sports that need freshening up at some point.

Kev, you didn't opt for millers then! Fat lot of good it helped me

Joking aside, the car is running superb after the service with no issues at all so I've forgotten about the scope

Had them done at the wheel specialist in Cwmbran. I know it's a franchise but the guys there are very helpful and done a great job.

centre caps off eBay £19.99 for 4 and chrome wheel nut covers until I get the spacers sorted :)

No Millers Ian, the cars had the usual Mobil 0/40 from new and was changed to Shell Helix 5/40 last year so I've stuck with it.
Oil changes have always been frequent and I'll be continuing with that which is normal practice for me anyway.
The bores were inspected before buying the car and it had a clean bill of health but I did opt for the LTT as a precaution.

Try not to worry about yours if it's running sweetly, it probably won't get any worse with regular maintenance and might of been like it a while. I hope you feeling a bit easier with it now.

Wheels, they look great:thumb: I've used the wheel specialist in Cwmbran myself a couple of times and they have always done superb work.

Happy anniversary to me

It was 12 months ago today I placed my deposit down on my first ever Porsche.

When I get 5 mins I'll write a little review :thumb:

Kev , I know from talking to you mate , you have had a great year with the car and the social scene around the forum meets curries runs etc. here's to another fun 12 months thats if you dont polish all the paint off it :floor: :floor:

Thanks Phil, yes it's been a really enjoyable year and I've really enjoyed the social side which in my view has enhanced the whole Porsche experience.

I'll bet yours is polished more than mine

:)

So a year ago today I picked up my first Porsche and it was certainly a nervous but exciting day.

The past years ownership has been brilliant, rewarding and fun I'm so glad I took the plunge.
These cars are special and I suppose only ownership fully reflects that so if anyone is thinking about buying one..... do it
