Morning guys anyone know how much oil the tip gearbox uses

If your dropping the oil pan and changing the filter, you'll need 4.5 litres
 
The full capacity is about 11 litres.
It depends if you have a machine flush or just a drain.
 
did not realise the difference i was just going to get the fluid before the service
will have to find out the method used by the garage, dont see the point of changing 4.5ltr if you got 11ltr in the box
 
I replaced mine myself and no luxury of a machine.

So after about a 1,000 miles I am draining and replacing 4.5lt again.

Hopefully that will give it enough of a change...just like how you clean a fish tank....
