Yep, damn Porsche and their bloody configurator! Just one more thing, and then another aaaand another.....hmmm!

Anyway, slightly OT but wifey picked this up today. She's like a pig in sh!t with her fancy new SUV and (my) temporary Boxster Laughing No confirmed build date on my GTS yet though Mad

It's bloody spectacular. That is all!

Oooh lovely! Your wife has picked the same interior as mine. The only difference is we took the carbon fibre pack and heated carbon fibre wheel. Sounds a bit naff but we love it.
Seriously, take that bad boy for a spirited drive. I promise you you'll be impressed.... thumbsup Smile

Thanks guys, and yeah I'm really impressed with the Macan.

It'll certainly get a good run alright, because in two days we're doing a 2.5k mile trip to Venice and Switzerland....I reckon it'll be nicely run in with a few hundred miles by the time I reach the German border Very Happy

Doing the Geneva show on the way back and, thanks to my OPC we have tickets to the closed area and some hospitality on the Porsche stand.

Most distressingly though, I am STILL waiting for by GTS build date Sad

Macan looks amazing Mr. Green

It's really bugging me, so I have to ask...why have your neighbours got windows in their chimney breasts? Dont know

Ha, funny! It's so Santa has a view Laughing

But they also have a log burner in that area so, what you see as a chimney breast on the outside is actually part of the room inside.

Good news, locked down the spec of my GTS today and I've got a build date of mid-May. So, hopefully I'll be able to take delivery late May, early June.

Thankfully, as it's still a 2017-build car, it's at the old price as the recent price hikes would have had a material £5k impact on my spec....thereby instigating a rethink. Indeed, I actually added a couple of extra options, namely the extended leather dash with contrast stitching (basically its leather right up to the windscreen) and painted air vents which should look great in the Carmine (this also gets the preposterous option of leather slats in the vents!).

Yes, noticed the price increases across the board... although i did also see that you can now order the PSE tips in black. I would have had those if they were an option last year.

Me too. Surprisingly a no cost option.

Maybe seem a strange question given I should be certain what I've ordered, but aren't GTS PSE tips black as standard?
