Next job on the list. Any hints and tips?

List so far:
1. Use cotton buds not just spray on
2.Warm the unit before (or maybe after to aid evaporation of cleaning fluid)
3. Do I wash the foam disc pad behind the mesh - it looks pretty filthy
4. Test the resistances (~1.8ohm and 1.1ohms expected)
5. Will any sensor cleaning fluid do or are there ones to avoid
6. Can I break anything if I am not careful?
7. Whats the worst that can happen?

I have always just used Electrical Contact Cleaner just to give the element a quick blast. It dries in seconds leaving no residue. Some people swear by break cleaner but that is a bit harsh.

Any idea how I get these bolts out?

Cut a slot in the head (with a junior hacksaw or Dremel), then just use a screwdriver.

Replace with normal screws :thumb:
