HEADLAMP WASHERS ISSUE

The pipes aren't blocked the pump works perfect there is just no power going to it from the car no matter what lights on driving etc.

Ok ignore all my previous rubbish , i had a look at a diagram , theres a relay for it and the motor has a permanent earth , this might help ..

I hope this is the right question where is the relay located ? ,I take it its a replaceable item .I was thinking relay but could only find a fuze and lm not that familiar with this sort of stuff but keen to find out lol . Feel free to direct me.

Check fuse F4 in fuse row B, the fuses are in the footwell on the drivers side, you'll need a 25 amp replacement if it's blown.
There is one specific fuse for the front washers.

Yep as already stated fuze is fine lol but thanks

Cheers Demort ,
I will check the continuity(when i get a chance maybe a while lol) of the earth from the pump earth to car ,hope that makes sense.

ignore sorry repeat post

I just emailed my indie specialist and he hasn't come across the issue before where it may be needing some sort of reset or recode . They have all the diagnostic equipment but has asked me to ask if anyone on here knows what needs to be done if this is the case. I hope ive relayed that correctly lol.

Its not a function that i remember going into transport mode .. heated seats are the main one but your indy needs to do a vehicle handover with his tester .. if it is that it will start working straight away .. its a 10 min job with a tester .

Sounds good thanks.

Update

Well i took the car to my indie today and he plugged it in to his laptop where he was able to control everything, everything apart from my headlight washers that is.He didn't use his piwis he used Diametric i think ,anyway he didn't have much time so told me it was highly likely the relay . So i drove home located the relays and swapped the heater relay with the headlight washer relay around as they are the same and nothing changed the heater still worked and the headlight washers didnt . Whats next I wonder.
Heres a pic of the relays for interest .

Look back to my post with the diagram on it .. the pump has an earth .. with a meter you need to cofirm its ok , it has a power from the relay , again with a meter confirm its ok .. if both are there then its a pump , if one isnt there then thats the fault .

I will try and do this tomorrow.
This is what i will do please correct me if its wrong.
to check the earth. From the earth wire to the battery negative or vehicle somewhere see if I've got continuity.
To check the power. Attach my multimeter to an earth and power lead (switch live) and push the button engine running headlights on to see if if I'm getting anything.
Hope that makes sense .

On my pic of the relays there looks like there is a missing relay or is this just redundant connector.

Not every car has every spec so a missing relay is not ususal .. unless a system doesnt work !!

Quick check .. your meter on 20 volt setting and connect it to both the earth and the feed wire .. and operate the washers .. if you get 12 volts then its going to be the pump ..

Difficult bit here .. it might be high resistance on the wireing which basically will reduce the amps .. try it with motor connected if possible .

If no voltage that way then pretty much as you say , one the pump earth wire and onto a good chassis or battery earth .. should be around 0.5 of an ohm .

Same on positive but operate the washers and see it you get voltage .. depending on what you get will depend on where to go next .
