The green "lights on" light is illuminated for side lights on but goes out when I go to full headlights. Is this normal (I am guessing it's not), not really a problem but if it's not normal it's going to annoy me.

I have only just noticed this as I haven't driven the car much at night since I bought it.
 
Yes it's normal.Don't panic.
