I thought I would start a thread about my car as I have seen others on here doing the same as it seems a good way to log what you have done over the years.
I had always fancied a Cayman but whilst trawling the net I spotted this so I purchased the car in the summer of last year. 2005 Basalt Black, Aero kit, GT3 rear bumper & wheels.

Parked up after a detail carried out by a friend.

I recently suffered a really bad misfire and loss of power so got the car up to Paul at Ardgay garage who immediately diagnosed the fault being the coil packs these were replaced along with a new heat shield and a new set of spark plugs.

Fitted some smoked LED sidelights/DRLs still unsure if I like these or not.

Anything you want to ask go ahead. I am new to Porsche ownership in the past I have owned - Nissan Bluebird (ex taxi), Nova GTE, 205 GTi, Renault Clio 16V, Impreza WRX, Impreza STI Type R then another Impreza STI Type R, Renault Kangoo Van and now this.

Great car, welcome to Porsche ownership.
IMO - lose the LED lights, but thats just my opinion

Welcome, great looking 2 S

I used to have a silver one ... great drive ...

Ardgay garage .... near Bonar Bridge? The road looks familiar ...

Where are you based?

Terry

Not previously seen GT3 type exhaust fitted to a C2S.

Did you fit the exhaust and GT3 rear bumper or did the previous owner.

Any idea on the manufacturer of the exhaust ?

Car looks mint, would love to find the same spec car as a daily driver :thumb:

I can't decide they were an impulse buy

Very nice indeed, those combined mods look the nuts, I think the smoked drl's look good also.

Love the aerokit, car looks the nuts. Would love to fit one to mine but can't in anyway justify the price! Buying a car with one already fitted is 100% the way to go :)

Tidy!

Lovely looking car, are the wheels GT3

a11ykf hasn't posted on here for 18 months but if it helps he does say in his first post that they are GT3 wheels.

Hi Steve not been on here for a while yeah GT3 style wheels. Whoever had the car before me must have tried to make a replica minus the bumper smile vent.
