See below some selective photos from the build.

Ken

They are not photo's :camera:

That's what I call modern art...stunning! :envy:

Congrats Faried and Ken. What power will this set up run in daily driver mode?

I had not appreciated 9e provide new builds with a two year warranty. I know a few fanboys of other tuners who could have done with a warranty like this ;)

I aim to have a daily 800 ish as one of the standard controller maps, and then a few more for attack and race etc!!!! Ken can wade in if i am off target

I had not thought of a "daily" target tbh but it has given me some thought time on daily/standard bhp goals

The tune is/will be good and safe so i have no concerns where ever we end up....has to be scarey thou lol

I will be seeing Ken tomorrow to load a updated tune, will discuss it with him

Regards Faried

Ken mentioned you have to make a decision on your gearbox, do you think you'll keep the manual transmission?

apollokre1d

Yes keeping it manual, cannot afford a sequential box anyways plus SWMBO would so kill me and then for good measure repeat her actions if i went so radical!!! Car looks no different to standard so what she does not know does not hurt lol (i have a gt2 front and rear end in carbon)

However the gearbox will deffo need a build at some point, its already ran 86k and been pushed quite hard since my ownership and the previous mods by myself...about 25k miles in 4 years

Ken and I have been talking and i am thinking about funds and end goals, however, i just want to get all this right first, diff, drive shafts etc

I will probably go for a longer final ratio to up the top speed but still thinking tbh

ragpicker

That start to pick up from about 2000 rpm but they just push and push. they actually get stronger at the upper ends, almost like a second burst if you get me

They are relentless

Ken can provide a more technical descriptor

I have been given a lesson in turbo charging and hitting the sweet spot, I had not realised what a science and how technical it all was...doh!!!

Faried please please please tell me you're bringing that to the meet in Feb :photoshot: :envy: :?:

Paul

Hope all is well

Where and when I Feb ? Forgive me

All good ol' chap and all the better for the inspirational work going into your car :D

We're doing a combined West London / Kent meet in late Feb. It'll be at Cobham Services. Then for those who want more we're heading to the Mercedes Driving Experience :drive:

Anyway that's a different thread. This one's all about this awesome project of yours :worship:
