Becker release v6 software / new maps for cascade and traffic pro....
It seems that a by product of becker releasing a new version of the Mexico classic is that they have updated the software (cd rom) and official maps (cf card)
The old version 5.2 allowed larger than 2gb CF cards to be used to run later than 2009 maps eg BMW with speed camera databases added.
I am running v5.2 system cd with a 4gb CF card and 2013 bmw maps.
The new becker update has official 2013 maps which can then add the March 2015 speed camera database to.
I'm not sure what system v6 has over v5.2 as it seems you don't need to upgrade from v5.2 to run the later Becker maps. If your not running at least v5.2 you need to upgrade to be able to use 4gb CF cards (the older maps where on 2GB CF cards)
I'll be trying this when I get chance, more details in the link below....
To those like me who are already running 4GB cards this should be an easy upgrade, to those still running original 2GB cards there is a little more too it as you need to buy a genuine 4GB sandisk cf card (from a reliable UK supplier, cheap Chinese copies won't work) and edit the header file using winhex ;-)
