Hi there.

For sale is my set of original OEM genuine Porsche Carrera III 18" alloy wheels with winter tyres fitted.

These are as originally fitted to 997 Gen 1 narrow body cars. I used these on my Gen 1 for two winters then on my Gen 2 for one winter. I have since purchased a set of genuine 997 Gen 2 winter wheels for my current 997 so these are now surplus to requirements.

Excellent original condition. No wheel centres - just pop them off your summer wheels and use those.

Whilst your Porsche is engineered to be used year round, you can improve performance, enhance driving pleasure and ensure greater safety in cold, wet and snowy conditions by fitting winter wheels and tyres. Below 7°C the rubber compound in all summer tyres hardens, causing a drop in performance and an increase in braking distance.

If you have never compared driving a car in cold conditions with summer tyres vs winter tyres then you will be delighted at the difference these will make, they can keep you moving when you would be stuck if you were on summer tyres. See video HERE.

Wheels:
Porsche part number: (F) 997.362.136.00 - 8j x 18H2 ET 57
Porsche part number: (R) 997.362.140.01 - 10j x 18H2 ET 58

Tyres:
(F) 235/40 R18 Conti Winter Contact N1
(R) 265/40 R18 Conti Winter Contact N1

The Porsche RRP for the front wheels are £802 each and the rears are £829 each. So that's £3262 worth of alloy wheels if you had to replace them......... then there's the cost of tyres on top!

I would like a very reasonable £1050 ovno

Collection only - I am in NE Lincolnshire. Don't be afraid to travel if you wish to buy them. These were collected from Suffolk and my current set were collected from Bedfordshire. Price for the fuel cost (diesel) is cheap as chips plus you'll get a day out! As a guide time-wise I'm @ :
3.5 hrs from the M25 (M11 junction)
2.75 hrs from Washington (Nr Newcastle)
2.5hrs from Tamworth
2.5 hrs from Chorley (Nr Preston)

Thanks and regards

John
