Personally I preferred it without the chrome too (though not the lights - the US ones don't work well for me). Still very nice once they were done though. As for the power - don't forget that this was smog era USA spec in California - when they had 7.5 litre V8s struggling to push more than 200hp (around half what the same engine families were capable of making in equivalent displacement half a decade earlier). In context and given the weight of the 912 - not as terrible as it might sound.

I noticed that too. In fairness they made a decent job of it by the look. At least they seem to sum up the hrs Edd spends on the cars now as well.
